The Microsoft O365 / Power Platform Technical Architect is a highly technical position responsible for assisting the organization in defining Power Platform operational strategy based on best practices and users / stakeholders / IT Management requirements. The strategy should include Performance, Security, DevOps, Environments, Service Accounts, RACI, Audit / Activity / Usage Analytics, Customization Patterns, Data Gateway, Dataverse, etc, that determines the best approach for efficiently operating and governing Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Virtual Agents. The candidate will be capable of analyzing business requirements by collaborating with users, stakeholders and IT Management. The candidate will also be capable of studying system flows, data usage and work processes, and document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, etc. Implementation and integration of custom solutions that leverage various Office 365 services will also be a requirement. The candidate will be proficient with the Power Platform (Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents), Visual Studio, PowerShell, etc. The candidate will also be proficient in Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, D365, Azure, Azure AD, etc. The candidate will be able to serve in an advisory capacity and provide technical leadership, mentorship and hands-on expertise with Office 365 solutioning and configurations. The candidate should be capable of evaluating current state and create both business and technical processes with the goal of modernizing application delivery.. The candidate should be motivated, independent and self-sufficient, and also have the ability to work closely with other engineers, administrators and users. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
