Programming Cloud Services Network Engineer System Administration Engineer (Jobs   Requirement id 72486 Job title Engineer Job location in ROCKLIN, CA Skills required Programming, Scripting Languages, Agile Methodologies, Cloud Services Network Engineer System A Open Date 20-Aug-2018 Close Date Job type Contract to Hire Duration 6 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement not found Job interview type Face to Face interview    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Engineer: Programming, Scripting Languages, Agile Methodologies, Cloud Services Network Engineer System A Candidate must be our own W2 Employee We should take signed RTR form from candidate (Candidates RTR form should be only on the name of APEX Systems) We should submit only GC,GC - EAD, L2-EAD,H4-EAD and Citizens Job Description : Responsibilities: * Work with developers and the systems engineering team to build long-term solutions and tools supporting the Engineering team at large * Lead the design and implementation of state-of-the-art Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes * Build and innovate to replace large-scale manual operating processes with automation * Collaborate and help build utilities and tools for internal use that enable you and your fellow engineers to operate safely at high speed and wide scale * Driving analysis, design, and development of automation tools for deployment, development, and operational tasks * Develop infrastructure as code and testable infrastructure * Move systems and infrastructure to the Cloud and build pipelines to deploy to the Cloud * Develop appropriate metrics to demonstrate performance and operational efficiency * Work cross-functionally with various teams to drive amazing results * Resolve problems at their root with simple and repeatable solutions * Design automated systems management solutions with self-repair as the goal * Create processes that enhance operation workflow and provide positive customer impact REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Technical Qualifications Required: * Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or 7 + years of equivalent professional experience * Expertise with build pipelines, packaging, and artifact management * Expertise in programming and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby or Java * Extensive experience with CI tools such as Jenkins * Strong background in Linux in an enterprise production environment * Experience with agile methodologies and practices * Experience using configuration management software like Puppet or Ansible * Experience with Build Tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle * Strong interest in learning new and emerging technologies * Familiarity with Linux Containers like Docker * Expertise in Cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP) * An understanding of network engineering and security principles (e.g. protocols, routing, switching, filtering, firewall rules, etc.) * Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Xen * Systems administration (Linux and Windows) background * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Good understanding of Security and systems best practices Additional Technical Qualifications -- Preferred: * Experience supporting and implementing Microsoft Active Directory Services * Experience supporting Windows environments using PowerShell or Chef or other management tools * Experience supporting Java application servers such as Apache Tomcat or JBOSS * Experience supporting Oracle databases including backup and recovery procedures * Experience supporting no-SQL data stores such as Cassandra * Experience with API driven infrastructure   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
