Responsibilities

Are you energetic and enthusiastic, as well as uniquely talented? We have a 24-month project with our client in Brooklyn, NY that requires a Software Architect, Expert

Under general supervision with considerable latitude for independent initiative and judgment the individual is responsible for the maintenance, design, installation and enhancement of Computer Application Systems, Database Management Systems, and related software functions.

Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to:

Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
Refine data and format final products.
Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic, and code changes.
Test and develop programming modifications.
Write new program code using prescribed specifications.
Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs, e.g., whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.
Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users.
Confer with users to gain an understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs.
Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
Write and maintain programming documentation.
Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale platform.
84+ Months-Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Preferred Qualifications:

84 months Experience with planning, process analysis, and problem solving.
84 months of experience in software engineering and information technology.
84 months of experience in MS SQL and programming of stored procedures
84 months of programming experience in ASP.NET 3.5, C#, VB.NET, HTML5/CSS3, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery MVC and Entity Framework.
24 months of programming experience in ASP.NET 4.5, .NET Core.
24 months of experience of Microsoft TFS and TFS DevOps
84 months of Experience in Microsoft SQL Server databases, and SQL Reporting tools
Bachelors Degree or masters degree in computer science/telecommunications from an accredited college
