Complete Description: Statement of work The Department of Information Systems (DIS) has begun a resource allocation initiative using Project Server 2010 and is currently seeking a highly skilled professional to assist the agency with the completion of this effort. The chosen candidate will be able to demonstrate experience implementing a resource allocation strategy using Microsoft Project Server and other Enterprise Project Management (EPM) Solutions within large organizations.. Scope Planning and Design Session Contractor Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead planning session with DIS stakeholders to flush out resource allocation strategy and toolsets needed Make recommendations to DIS based on experience implementing resource allocation methods, processes, procedures at other large organizations Topics to cover include which efforts to consider “operational” and which efforts to track as “projects” and guidelines for establishment of project standards. Work with DIS to create a project plan to implement agreed upon resource allocation initiative using project management methodologies DIS Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide meeting facilities Provide access to DIS stakeholders for planning session Work with Contractor to put together project plan to implement agreed upon resource allocation initiative using project management methodologies Identify Project Management Process Requirements Contractor Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Work with DIS Staff to identify project management process flow Configure EPM environment to support DIS project management process flow DIS Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing access to EPM application (and/or other planning session designated tool Providing technical resources to support configuration of EPM application (and/or other planning session designated tool Establish Workflows Contractor Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Work with DIS Project Manager to identify project workflow Work with DIS to implement project processes and workflows Establish workflows within EPM tool (and/or other planning session designated tool) DIS Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing access to EPM tool (and/or other planning session designated tool Providing technical resources to support configuration of ProjectServer (and/or other planning session designated tool Establish Resource Capacity Management Contractor Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Configure Primary resource roles Assist Resource Managers with Configuring resource management processes DIS Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing access to Project Server(and/or other planning session designated tool Providing technical resources to support configuration of Project Server (and/or other planning session designated tool Transition to Operations Contractor Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing Knowledge Transfer to DIS Project Server Application Administrator Providing Knowledge Transfer to DIS Project Server System Administrator Providing training to DIS Project Managers and Resource Managers DIS Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing adequate time and resources to accomplish the training.
