Due to an unprecedented period of growth, we have a LONG-TERM PROJECT-CONTRACT opportunity in the SACRAMENTO, CA area for a PROJECT MANAGER HIM. Role/Responsibilities: The selected candidate will perform as on-site technical resource performing the following responsibilities: The selected candidate will work to support and guide internal project team during the implementation phase of EHR systems enterprise wide. Candidate will oversee and assist in the creation of required design documentation and business needs analyses documents Develop and document technical, functional and business systems requirements Support the SQA Test Team in the development of specific testing scenarios and execution to validate that the system is functioning appropriately Work collaboratively with SQA Test Team to write and execute test scripts, develop and manage testing reports and develop and implement User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Generally support implementation rollout and provide oversight and troubleshooting Requirements: Minimum BS/BA degree in Healthcare Administration, MIS, IT, CIS, general business or related field is highly required. Minimum 5-years experience in a Project Manager or equivalent position within an HIM role Candidates must have a deep understanding of complex requirements analysis including both business and functional requirements. Candidates must have experience using requirements gathering techniques such as "Use Cases", Prototyping, JAD, and conducting interviews. Candidates must have demonstrated EHR systems implementation experience. NO EXCEPTIONS. Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Technical writing and presentation skills are especially important. Must have advanced hands-on experience using MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Access & Excel.
