Specific Skills Required (Programming languages, databases, operating systems, etc.) Specific Skills for a ScrumMaster: • First level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM ) • Experience in the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency • Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, Retrospective formats, scaling agile across multiple teams, handling defects, etc.) • The ability to distinguish between what "is Scrum" what is "not Scrum" • Excellent communication and mentoring skills • Understand the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development. • Understand the fundamentals of software development processes and procedures. • Demonstrate knowledge and experience with IT processes and concepts. • Knowledge of other approaches discussed in the Agile space: XP, Kanban, SAFe, etc. • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, etc. Technical Skills: • Understand basic fundamentals of iterative development. • Understand other pr   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
