The incumbent must be project management and technically competent in data center builds and relocations. Specifically: * Lead the SDC infrastructure build which includes planning for and acquiring the equipment, site coordination, and installation management of ITD teams and service providers. * Work closely with ITD teams to define infrastructure build-out needs and to plan accordingly. Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required tasks and integrate with SDC Program. * Work closely with Infrastructure Planning Group and Facilities Management team to ensure that appropriate infrastructure is in place for equipment that will be located at SDC and relocated from both MITC, Chelsea, MA, and Ashburton Place, Boston, MA * Track and manage the SDC infrastructure project schedule and task details, and closely coordinate activities within SDC Program. * Adhere to established project management methodologies and procedures. * Maintain current and accurate documentation using established tools, such as CAs Clarity. * Must have prior data center creation and/or data center expansion infrastructure project management experience. * Expertise in information technologies such as VMWare; Servers (Unix & Windows); EMC storage; IBM Z-series mainframe; Cisco networks; Mirroring, Data replication & Clustering; etc. * Proficient in computer room design (racks, cabling, power, etc.) * Proficient in data center environmental requirements (power, HVAC, etc) * Proficient in detailed project planning, organizing, team motivation and delegation. * Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Work with minimal supervision * Ability to work with tight deadlines in a fast paced environment. * Solid interpersonal skills with people of all levels of IT expertise and position. * Prior experience on projects with federal, state or local government is desirable, but not required.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
