The Project Management Office will also coordinate with areas external to Technology Services to manage the Project Request/Demand process. The candidate will assist with: • Develop a standard and consistent Project Management methodology. • Establish Project Portfolio Management practices. • Establish a governance model. • Train, mentor and coach project teams. • Lead and Manage projects across various areas within Technology Services. • Provide Business Analysis and Quality Assurance support as needed. These initiatives require the candidate to operate independently, critically think and provide leadership, quality assurance, alignment to vision/mission and follow-through on solutions to completion. • Develop a simple, standard and effective Project Management Framework starting with the waterfall methodology and slowly moving to the Agile methodology. • Implement and maintain the Project Portfolio Management tool and incorporate the tool in the standard process. • Determine artifacts that need to be developed as part of the project process and develop corresponding templates. • Establish key performance metrics. • Develop and impart training. Mentors and guides Technology Services staff for various aspects of a project life cycle. • Oversee, lead and direct projects and project teams in a highly complex and high pressure environment from concept to implementation, both strategically and tactically. • Manages the day-to-day activities of assigned projects, to include but not limited to; ongoing communications to key stakeholders and project teams, conduct cost benefit analyses, develop project charters to include timelines and team roles, evaluate risks, oversight of project prioritization, manage allocation of human resources, and ensure deadlines are met • Provide Business Analysis and Quality Assurance support as needed.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
