DHS provides services to Minnesotans through a combination of federal and state programs, including but not limited to: Health care Services for children, families and adults Services for seniors and people with disabilities County, tribal, contracted agency administration MN.IT @ DHS is seeking Project Managers with strong experience in large and complex systems development projects. The Project Managers are needed to bring several active, highly visible projects to successful completion to enable the technical solution to be deployed and fully operational. The Project Managers will be responsible for managing requirements, design, development, and deployment of the System Modernization projects. These may include several cross-agency projects with key collaborators from MNsure, MN.IT and DHS. The Project Managers will work closely with a METS (Minnesota Eligibility Technology System) Manager. The Program Manager will direct the system project life cycle, as well as oversee the system project work plan and ongoing activities. The Project Managers (PMs) will be responsible for managing the development and enhancement of complex information technology solutions and services delivered by MNIT @ DHS, supporting the METS program. The PMs will work with the Information Technology staff to manage project decisions relating to the design and development of new applications in order to meet the needs of DHS. The State anticipates that in order to perform the work on the systems, resources will be able to access information about individuals that contains data that the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act classifies as "protected health information" and that Minnesota law classifies as "not-public data." The State will therefore require the vendor to sign the business associate agreement attached as a prerequisite. Resource Need This request is for 4 full time staff augmentation resources. All resources will come from different vendors, as each vendor is only allowed to submit 1 resource. Office location is in the Golden Rule Building. Work takes place in this building, as well as all of the DHS and MNsure office building located in downtown St. Paul. Resources must be available for forty (40) hour work weeks except for State holidays or other exceptions that DHS approves or that the response identifies. DHS may expect resources to work up to fifty (50) hours per week depending on project volume. Mode of Interview The State will conduct interviews.
