ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION: • Manages one or more project teams simultaneously and can appropriately utilize Scrum-Agile principles. The Contracter may be used in crossfunctional roles of Scrum Master & Product Owner based on various team needs. This will include the planning, development, procurement, implementation, and evaluation of large complex technology projects. • Serve as Agile practitioner who represents ITD and its end users to his/her team of highly skilled developers of the product vision, its ongoing support, and is able to convey clear communication strategies. • Initiate, build, and maintain good relationships with IT & business management to help facilitate effective completion of project work. • Contracter will coordinate Release activities ROLE SPECIFIC DUTIES o PRODUCT OWNER DUTIES: ? Engage the business in the gathering of requirements ? Maintain & groom a healthy product backlog ? Support Sprint Demos & PI Planning ? Communicate Risks ? Partner with other POs on Project o SCRUM MASTER DUTIES ? Build high performing teams ? Facilitate Stand-Up meetings, Program Increment Planning and product demos ? Remove impediments to teams ? Raise risks to decision makers ? Support PO in building and maintaining a healthy product backlog • The ideal candidate should be experienced in Agile system development, lifecycle, and business analysis methodology. The candidate should also have extensive knowledge and experience in analysis, project execution, prioritization, and business process management to drive successful project completion. • He/she should be able to coordinates project activities of contractor/state FTEs and provide direction to large diverse project teams. Responsibilities also include overseeing the creation of all project artifacts in adherence to established DMV and PMO standards and procedures. • He/She will ensure that all project engagement rules are adhered to and that quality project deliverables are supplied on time and within budget. • The Candidate will facilitate the operational efficiency of the business processes within the Division—ensuring adoption of newly designed processes and the use of enhanced information technology tools. • Identification of business process improvement through collaborative requirement gathering. • Captures current state of the organization and aids in the design of the future state so that it aligns with business goals and objectives while looking for ways to streamline and reduce cost or time to deliver final products. • Elicits requirements and aggregate input from stakeholders, county partners, and subsequently translates those requirements into epics, features, and user stories that can be utilized for product development and/or implementation. • R   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
