Job Description Engineer: Data Center, Test Engineer, Python, SQL C#

Description: Experis is speaking to Sr. Data Center Systems Test Engineers interested in projects located in Cleveland, Ohio.

Experience:

-MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN MAINFRAME OR DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS

-YOU MUST INCLUDE DETAILS OF YOUR CANDIDATES ABOVE EXPERIENCE IN YOUR SUBMITTAL

- Have experience with Mainframe and Distributed Systems Engineering background to work with a team of System Test Engineers to design and implement testing strategies and automation programs on infrastructure centric projects across the enterprise with focus on our Mainframe and Distributed Systems Domains.

- Have proficiency with command line tools, PowerShell, several scripting languages, testing tools, Advanced Testing Methodologies, Automation coding, and basic System Test Engineering knowledge in a very large and complex Multi-Data Center environment.

Project Work Will require:
- Automate test be built to test the performance of our servers after patches are applied to the servers.
- Automate regression suites be built to test functionality of applications and physical components.
- Monitoring project will require automation coding to test functions of servers after application of Splunk and App Dynamics.
- All of this coding will be done with Visual Studio, Fitness, Ranorex, Powershell, Python and possibly C#.

Due to the Mainframe and Distributed systems focus, the preferred candidate should have experience working with many of the following items:

- Windows PowerShell, Python, Rexx, Visual Studio, Ranorex or Fitnesse.
- Basic knowledge of Mainframe OS, Transaction management Systems, Large-scale Database systems and Middleware solutions.
- Basic knowledge of MS Windows Server 2012
- Basic knowledge of Linux
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy.
- Basic knowledge of Hosted Servers (VMware vSphere - ESXi host, Storage LUNs, vCenter, VMware View - View Managers, VMware Tools)
- Basic knowledge Designing and Performing Performance, Stress and Load tests.
- Basic Programming skills with C# and SQL
- Advanced experience with Test Planning and documentation.
- Basic technical troubleshooting, diagnosing and problem solving skills.
