Job Description Engineer: Python, C#, Java, Oracle Agile Methodology

[Note : Phone interview-In Person (local candidates preferable)
Must be candidates that are on your payroll.....no 3rd party vendors]

Responsibilities :

* Create and maintain automated deployment scripts for all 3D Products
* Work with project and operational teams in the analysis of deployment requirements
* Define and document technical specifications, quality processes and improvement of plans for build deployment
* Monitor, analyze and troubleshoot 3D Products staging environment while collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues

* Transfer knowledge of the build and deployment scripts and processes to the appropriate Tech Ops team

Qualifications:

o Knowledge and commercial experience with Python, Java, C#, Oracle

o Knowledge and understanding of Continuous Delivery and its implementation

o Experience working with Agile Methodology and being part of an agile team
o Experience working with Deployment Management software (AntHillPro preferred)
o Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
o Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills

Other Requirements:

1. This person is not writing new Java Code. This person will write deployment code (typically in Java Script).
2. This person is a "Build and Deploy" Engineer also called "Build and Release" Engineer or "Change Management" or "Release Management"
3. This person must know Python
4. Must be able to at least understand Java and C# Code - If they can write Java code or C# they will be even better. If they do not understand the code they will not be able to understand their applications or write deployment code in Java Script
5. This person must have experience with Unix Testing Script
6. This person must be able to Automate Deployment Scripts in 2 weeks (2 weeks is the sprint length ---again they are an Agile environment)
7. Going back to #6 ---Must have worked in Agile environment.
8. AnthillPro or Anthill Pro or Ant is the Deployment Management Software that Navteq currently uses. We can submit candidates that have experience with different kinds of Deployment Management Software other than Ant.
