You will identify and implement best of breed testing strategies and tools to optimize automated tests while ensuring high-quality defect-free code. You will also provide mentoring, guidance, and perspective to other QA personnel. As a member of the Delivery Services team you will educate others regarding test quality management issues and champion the Quality Assurance teams. Responsibilities - Ability to manage change during the test process. Build and manage the overall test process, according to Agile/Scrum and/or waterfall methodology. - Report on progress of the test process. - Continuously evaluate and recommend improvement to overall test processes. - Identify and evaluate tools to support the QA function executing proof of concepts where appropriate. - Develop automated testing strategies and plans for the enterprise. - Lead and define test strategies across multiple teams. - Lead implementation of automated testing strategy. - Prepare, specify, and execute test cases and scenarios using QTP. - Provide internal Quality Assurance to IT Development for Infrastructure projects. - Identify and report project risks early in the development effort. - Control and manage daily test activities through daily Agile Scrum stand-up meetings. - Manage Day-to-Day activities and schedules. - Providing mentoring and direction to the Test Automation Analysts. Qualifications - B.S. Degree, Computer Science, MIS or related work experience. - 4+ years experience participating in complex test programs. - At least 8+ years experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Development Test Analysis. - At least 4+ years experience with Quality Assurance and Software Testing Tools. - MUST have at least 2+ years experience working in an Agile Scrum environment / methodology and/or TDD (Test Driven Development) writing and executing J-Unit tests. - MUST have at least 2+ years experience with Automated Testing Tools (Fit, FitNesse, Quick Test Professional and Load Runner) - Work with Infrastructure teams and developers to effectively understand the environment changes and accordingly create test plans for projects like: changing application architectures - VB6 to WPF; legacy application support; Browser application compatibility remediation, etc - Experience designing and creating test suites for projects which do not necessarily have any front end associated Ex:- Upgrading Apache - Experience creating test suites with tools like Selenium, FitNesse and SOAPUI (Web services Testing) - Knowledge of software development life cycle and processes for quality assurance guidelines - Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies - Knowledge of quality philosophies, principles, methods, tools and standards of software development and testing (software estimation techniques, risk assessment and management, configuration management and change control, software tracking constructs) - Expert Knowledge of HP tools such as Test Director, Win Runner, Quick Test Professional and Load Runner. - Knowledge of Internet protocols and technologies (Http, TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, etc.) - Knowledge of XML-based technologies, and encryption programming (SSL, etc.) - Knowledge of operating system environments such as Windows and UNIX environments including AIX and / or HP-UX and Linux - Knowledge of object oriented programming - Knowledge of build technologies - Knowledge of n-tier architecture - Knowledge of the disciplines of Software Engineering with emphasis on testing - Expe   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
