Start: March 2019 Duration: 12 month minimum contract – to hire Key Responsibilities: Review requirements, specification, and technical design documents • Provide estimates for testing timelines based on the scope of effort • Primary contact for providing status updates, defect clarification, etc. • Creation and execution of test scripts for functional testing, system integration testing, and regression testing. • Facilitate User Acceptance testing, including the coordination with the business to their test approach, document issues identified by the business, and work with development to resolve issues. • Creation of defects with sufficient information required for development review and monitor issues through resolution • Track and report testing progress, including testing results, test coverage, defects statuses • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with the Project Managers, Business Analysts, development team and project stakeholders • Provide leadership and mentoring for junior QA Skills: Environment coordination Test Data Coordination Defect Management Development of Test Cases Execution of Test Cases Peer Reviews or Walkthroughs Defect Entry Requirements Traceability. Requirements: Critical thinking skills are a must have. Manually testing in a waterfall environment.
