Candidates must be located in central Ohio or relocated by day one for consideration. Description: This position will function as a highly skilled SS1 for integrating roadway data and bridge data with specific responsibilities that include: Serve as the bridge-data Quality Control subject matter expert in the Departments Roadway Inventory Updater (RIU) project. Evaluate, analyze and compare data between ODOTs Transportation Information Mapping System (TIMS) and ODOTs Bridge Inspection and Inventory data collection application (AssetWise). Evaluate bridge and roadway data for compliance, analyze data for trends and improve data quality and data quality processes. Make data corrections in AssetWise; asset-level inventory updates and bulk-updates. Establish and implement QA/QC processes to ensure accuracy of bridge and roadway data in AssetWise. Manage collected data associated with bridges, photo imaging, files and documents. Experience required Experience: Excellent PC skills Able to follow written and spoken instructions Ability to accurately analyze, enter and manage data ex. Microsoft Excel. Ability to accurately enter information into a computer, accessing information from a computer, and verifying information on a screen Duties involve utilizing automated equipment, including electronic keyboard, display screen, camera, and sorted memory Ability to operate and understand basic scanning and imaging equipment, including pan, skew, and image correction techniques Ability to conduct data mining and data capture efforts Keypunch and verify records in specified format (ex. ASCII) The contractor must complete all data forms within an agreed-upon amount of time from receipt or average a minimum of a set number of strokes each week data forms are in possession Error rate cannot exceed 1/2%.
