Job Description :

Qualification:

· Experience developing and executing test cases against Mobile Retail devices and solutions

· This role will provide hands-on support creating a comprehensive set of test cases and E2E test execution on an Enterprise Retail POS solution

· Experience executing automation testing with web, mobile application and API messaging across multiple devices and platforms using test tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit/NUnit, SoapUI, Swagger, and Postman. Tricentis Tosca experience is a plus

· Experience reviewing unit tests for coverage and effectiveness.

· Stress/Performance/Security testing experience is a plus




Job Description:

· Translation of Business Requirements into detailed manual Test Cases

· Development of Test Cases in a cloud Enterprise Test Management platform

· Ensure that unit testing, code reviews, functional testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, etc. are implemented and completed to meet functionality, performance, scalability and security goals

· Guide IS and Business partner teams through Testing Strategy, findings, and continuous improvement

· Support refinements to Test Strategy and Test Cases in alignment to QA Project schedules

· Work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize test case candidates for integration, regression and automation.

· Support automation resources with clarifications on practical execution steps to be replicated with automation tools

· Play a role in running automated test suites and evaluate performance, functionality, and scalability

· Maintain and enforce QA Test Strategy standards, procedures and best practices during each phase of testing.

· Provide input to test scoping activities, test approach recommended on project and timeline for completion.

· Provide ongoing input to QA tracking metrics on Test Case development and execution progress

· Participate in end-to-end program quality support leveraged for planning and executing test plans as well as providing constructive feedback throughout the development lifecycle

· Participate various test-related activities for project delivery: identifying QA task dependencies, test schedules, creation of test data, utilization of test environments, etc.

· Collect and report data pertaining to bug detection, defect testing results and performance.



Required Skills:



· 5 - 6 years QA experience developing and executing manual test cases for POS terminal solutions and back-end server applications/services or APIs

· Strong understanding of Service Oriented Architecture programming and REST API functions

· eCommerce industry experience, Retail Customer Enrollment testing; specifically working with POS solutions

· Solid understanding of software testing practices and agile development

· Strong Analytical skills that helps with working independently under minimal direction.

· Positive attitude and strong work ethic with a sense of teamwork

· Team player with strong oral and written skills, great communicator with good interpersonal skills

· At least 4 years experience using Enterprise Test Management tools like qTest, HP ALM (Quality Center), Bugzilla, Rally and JIRA for Test Case and Defect management

· Understands POS requirements, test roles in Story/Feature discovery
