The position requires experience with SSIS or other ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) tools, strong experience with SQL and stored procedure testing, and experience with UNIX and Windows platforms. This lead role will drive and support the evolving test-engineering efforts within the platform. RESPONSIBILITES: - Influencing test management, test design, and test strategy. - Leading testers on projects that include a wide variety of technologies supporting mobile, web and backend systems. - Working closely with Testing Transformation in adapting the new test methodology (i.e. risk-based testing). - Leading/implementing change with testing process and methodologies. - Supporting developmental testing strategy for the Agent Service/Web Presence organization; includes helping with test harness designs, responders, and tools/utilities. - Providing testing leadership in design reviews, code reviews, and test reviews. - Analyzing trends in data and make recommendations for improvements. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: - Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts and architecture. - Extensive data warehouses testing experience. - Experience authoring test plans for various data and analytics projects, with a focus on Hadoop, Microsoft Parallel Data Warehouse, and/or SQL server. - Experience with SSIS or other ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) tools. - Strong Lead Level experience with SQL and stored procedure testing with the ability to write SQL queries for testing purposes (e.g. staging test data). - Experience with UNIX and Windows platforms from a testing/development perspective. - Experience quickly adapting and assimilating to technologies and teams. - Superior leadership and soft-skills (i.e. communications and collaboration) are required. - C#/.NET or similar (i.e. Java) programming experience highly preferred.
