Experis is seeking Sr. Test Automation Engineer experienced building test frameworks in C# for an initial one year contract position in Cleveland, Ohio 44143

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Design and construct software systems (e.g. test automation fixtures, responders)
Construct, maintain, and support test harnesses, test data generators, and analysis tools
Interpret and manipulate computer programs or systems components
Identifies and addresses complex testability challenges

WHAT IS NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE
Proven experience building testing frameworks in C# (C# is required for the STE role, so no other OO language (e.g. Java) is considered qualifying.)
Must have at least 5 years of related work experience in system testing, which includes strong working knowledge of software applications, software development life cycle, computer programming and testing methodologies
Computer coding/programming languages and software development concepts in a large IT environment
Test automation and proficiency creating automated unit, build and regression test suites.
Utilizing one or more test automation tools and frameworks such as FitNesse, Web Driver or other test automation tools
Data structures, data management practices, system interaction patterns and interfaces
Common testing methods, testing tools (e.g., ALM), terminology and industry practices
Advanced technical troubleshooting, diagnosing and problem solving skills
Advanced analysis and problem solving skills with the ability to analyze data from various sources to determine next steps
Various corporate security rules, legal and regulatory obligations such as PCI, SOX or similar standards
Vendor software integration and interaction patterns
Creative, self-motivated team player with a desire to learn the newest techniques and technologies in order to develop cutting-edge innovative solutions.
Strong knowledge of Development and QA process, methodology and tools
Highly proficient in white- and black-box test planning and software testing; including functional, unit, system, integration, regression, and all other applicable forms of manual and automated testing
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate as part of a team.
Preferred skills:
Experience with Agile Methodologies is a plus.
Automated API testing is preferred
Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree in an Information Technology, or related discipline, which could include Computer Science, Information Systems (IS) or Management Information Systems (MIS). In lieu of a degree, related work experience will be accepted, which includes working knowledge of software applications and computer programming.
