This is initially a contract through the end of the year. QTP automation, test scripts, will be testing new products in the market, automated regression testing on a weekly basis, manage change requests, baseline for test cases, documentation must be created, UAT will be done by the Business. Client is global. Education: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Must Have Skills: Demonstrates knowledge of all of the following quality assurance methods: unit, system, user acceptance, regression, user interface automated testing Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility Ability to identify inefficiencies and opportunities to improve the process Collaboration and relationship-building skills with business partners both within and outside of the business unit Self-directed, pro-active, self-starter who excels in an environment with limited supervision Demonstrates a solid working knowledge of SAP ECC and BI Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Tools: Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint Excellent written and oral communication skills along with good documentation skills. 1-2 yrs experience as a Tester. Nice to Have Skills: Demonstrates proficiency with testing tools: HP Quality Center, HP Performance Center, Quick Test Pro, LoadRunner Job Role / Responsibilities: Review Business Requirements and Functional Requirements document to recommend changes and understand the application functionality/changes. Manage and coordinate change request testing activities and timelines to meet planned implementation dates . Perform moderate to complex analysis of business requirements and technical design documentation to effectively create test scripts Develop detailed Test Plans based on Test Strategy and based on the understanding of the system & other documentation. Create Positive & Negative Test Scenarios and Test Cases based on Functional requirements, Technical & Interface specifications. Document & maintain Test Scenarios and Test Cases. Execute Test Cases for Functional and Functional Regression Testing. Log, track, and verify resolution of software and specification defects Raise detailed defects or issues based on Test Execution results Coordinate deployment of fixes, retest defects, communicate results Must be able to communicate effectively with other QA analysts, Developers, Configuration Analysts and Managers.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
