The ideal candidate should have work experience in web-based application and database testing in the Healthcare domain. JOB DUTIES( Specific Responsibilities): • Review and analyze business requirements and technical specifications for web-based applications. Create the corresponding test plans, and test cases. • Identifies appropriate test strategy mix of manual and automation testing methods (leveraging automation where possible) • Designs test scenarios, building automated scripts and data; executes the scripts and validates test results. • Perform back-end (database) testing using SQL queries on Oracle and SQL Server databases. Perform regression and integration testing. • Perform front-end (functional) testing of Web and GUI applications. • Analyze test results and log defects in JIRA. Partner with project team members on the resolution and re-testing of identified defects and issues. • Prepare reports of defects, test results, and provide daily metrics. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements. QUALIFICATIONS: (Special skill sets, years of experience and certifications) • 5+ of QA/Software testing experience in Web and database testing, • 3+ years experience in both manual and automation testing • Experience in running various kinds of tests such as Functional, Regression, Performance, Backend, User Acceptance Tests (UAT) for Web and Client/Server Applications. • Knowledge of data analysis, database design, Oracle SQL, and SQL testing. • Ability to write complex SQL and Oracle database queries. • Experience in database querying, data manipulation and population using SQL in Oracle and SQL Server. • Experience with deciphering complex SQL stored procedures as required • Demonstrated experience in tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Jenkins, or other Automation Tools • Testing/working experience with Healthcare IT and familiarity with Healthcare IT terminology, business functions and processes • Good understanding of DWH • Tested web services using SoapUI, XML • Communication (verbal, written and listening), planning, organizing, analytical, project management, problem-solving and decision-making skills • Self-starter and team player with excellent communication, problem solving skills, interpersonal skills and adaptive to changing priorities.
