The candidate will need to proactively work with members of other teams to gather requirements, understand technical details, and review systems test design for a complete implementation of end-to-end testing for the integrated systems. Projects may include integration of modules with different development methodologies including Agile and waterfall. Responsibilities: · Analyze software specifications and architecture to determine system integration points · Review system tests to provide integration testing gap & risk analysis · Design and execute tests to identify integration and end-to-end issues · Collaborate with engineers, system test teams, and business stakeholders on design of test scenarios · Coordinate testing with system test teams and integration of test environments · Deploy and configure test environment for integration testing · Provide weekly status reports to project manager describing accomplishments Skills: · Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field · 5+ years of experience in software testing · 3+ years of experience writing and executing SQL queries · 2+ years of experience testing complex system integration or distributed computing solutions · 2+ years of experience testing SOAP or REST web services · 2+ years of experience of working with Unix or Linux Operating Systems · 2+ years testing Java applications or services · 1+ years of creating shell scripts or scripting language development (Unix, Python, Groovy, Ruby) · Experience gathering requirements, planning and designing tests, and executing manual test cases · Experience testing services or applications without an explicit user interface or backend test execution · Experience with Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies · Experience with soapUI, SOAtest, or equivalent web service testing tools · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Strong analytical and problem solving skills · Ability to work independently, be creative, and resolve technical issues · Ability to describe system architectures and work in a highly technical operating environment · Experience working with JBoss or Tomcat and deploying Java applications is a plus · Experience writing Java code is a plus · Experience coordinating testing with other teams is a plus · Experience with automated test development is a plus   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
