Client has an opportunity for a WMS Business Analyst role based in Quincy, MA. This is a 12+ month position. Here are the details: Title: WMS Business Analyst Location: Quincy, MA (Remote to start) Duration: 12+ month contract Position Description: Our client is implementing a state-of-the-art Warehouse Management Application at a Distribution Center. This role will write business requirements, support QA and UAT initiatives, and assist in documenting operations manual and other documents as required to support the project. Responsibilities: Partner with the business to identify business needs, problems, and opportunities Analyze pros and cons of various alternatives and present options Work with the business stakeholders and IT to run workshops in order to write detail business requirements. Ensure business requirements are translated into the functionality requirements of existing or new IT systems Document process or business procedures as necessary for new project efforts Define, develop and confirm testing scenarios for an IT project Assist in system and user acceptance testing in coordination with responsible parties to correct and reduce defects. Analyze defects, explain functionalities and data flows across multiple systems to the testers. Reach out SMEs from various applications to get information to help analyze/resolve defects Build relationships with various IT and business teams to become a trusted advisor Help PMs with all phases of the project; assist with activities like keep track of, follow up, document, and get closure on risks and issues Spread own competence, skills, and best practices to others within the broader IT community Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in WMS space (Manhatten, JDA, SAP) 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst UAT experience Visio   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
