They should understand DW star schema and have experience as DW Testers; b. Development of DQ artifacts like Test Plan, Test Case, Test Script, and Test results is desired; 2) INFA PowerCenter – they must be able to run INFA workflows in a QA environment a. Plus they must be able to interpret INFA mappings and sessions; b. They must be familiar with INFA Workflow log files. 3) UNIX – they must be able to copy, move, and edit(view) large files; a. Putty and IPSwitch are used here; 4) SQL / Oracle - Ability to understand and create SQL statements and scripts a. We use TOAD as our interface to Oracle We would prefer local candidates who could convert – but this is not a hard requirement. Here are the specific desired qualifications: At least 3 years of Informatica Must have: Experience in DW testing Strongly Desired: Informatica DVO Informatica IDQ is nice to have Team Background and Responsibilities The DW-SAS team is responsible for building, deploying, and managing data solutions for DW (Data Warehousing) The team uses Informatica DVO and as the tool of choice for the design and development of integration solutions. In this role, you will support, develop and test Data Warehouse jobs and data to support the business requirements. Other tasks associated with this role include but are not limited to the following: Perform system and data analysis that includes data lineage activities Responsible for primary development and execution of testing strategies for data lineage Create test plans, scripts and document all phases of testing Identify, document and resolve data quality/data integrity issues Develop and or test ETL mappings, workflows/sessions and other DW jobs Coordinate work efforts with internal and external team members Respond to business data issues and resolves them Contributes to new concepts, techniques and standards Ensures adherence to locally defined standards for all developed components Assists developers, administrators and architects in all development and testing efforts Execute Data Warehouse jobs and tests that will uncover any data integrity issues within the Data Warehouse Validate the accuracy of the data in the WFDS Data Warehouse Report data integrity issues to the development team and manage the resolution of these issues Investigate data quality issues from production which are reported by users of the WFDS Data Warehouse The successful candidate should demonstrate the following competencies: Experience with Informatica DVO and Informatica IDQ Demonstrated experience with SQL Write their own queries to extract Data – doesnt need to be advanced – lots of ROW counts – Select ROW Count * from a Table 5+ years of application development and implementation experience 3+ years experience with Informatica Data Validation Option (DVO) development Testing experience in an Informatica Environment   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
