Job Description Analyst: QA, SQL, Java, SSRS Business Objects XI

Description :

Roles :
* Work closely with HR and IT leads to deploy time reporting system, CyberShift, to all remaining production employees across the United States.
* Develop an in-depth understanding of the U.S. time reporting process and supporting CyberShift application.
* Analyze and define requirements for plants time reporting business rules and processes.
* Understand and analyze enhancement requests related to CyberShift and its integrations with PeopleSoft Payroll.
* Analyze and define requirements for new CyberShift reports and data requests.
* Work closely with the CyberShift vendor and in-house development staff to resolve issues or develop new custom business rules.
* Work with plants, HR, and IT to develop and execute test plans and test scripts.
* Work with the plants to coordinate configuration and testing of newly deployed CyberShift equipment.
* Ensure data accuracy during testing and cutover.
* Utilize project management processes and deliverables to ensure quality deployments.

Required Skills :
* Analytical skills - ability to gather requirements, create business specifications, identify test cases, help translate HR business terms into CyberShift/IT terms.
* Experience with a packaged system including working with the vendor to develop enhancements, modify configuration, fix defects, etc.
* Communication skills (written/oral) - ability to clearly document and communicate IT issues with the business side, vendor, etc.
* Organizational skills - ability to track/prioritize issues, coordinate installation/testing/migration of application development changes, etc.
* Work direction skills - ability to work with developer to handle day-to-day support issues.
* Troubleshooting skills - ability to investigate escalated issues to determine the cause and work to prevent its reoccurrence.
* QA experience - determine what needs to be tested appropriate to the system change
* Reporting experience - familiarity with options available (BusinessObjects XI, CyberShift Query Tool, SSRS)
* SQL experience and an understanding of object-oriented programming, such as Java * ability to understand capabilities when analyzing gaps, documenting requirements, reviewing designs, defining test cases, etc.

Experience :
If you do not have CyberShift experience, the client would also be interested in candidates that have previous experience with Kronos or another SaaS platform (integration or implementation).
