QA LoadRunner Tester (Jobs in Sacramento, CA)   Requirement id 4322 Job title Tester Job location in Sacramento, CA Skills required QA, Automating Test Scripts, Load Runner, Open Date 12-May-2011 Close Date Job type Not specified Duration 6 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Tester: QA, Automating Test Scripts, Load Runner, [Note: Deadline May 24th 2pm] • Provide functional test automation, where applicable, for repeatable testing of the PSR Interfacing or legacy systems. o Develop detailed functional automation test plans to include Integration, System, Customer Acceptance Test, Load, Performance to ensure that components and interfaces are without flaw and meet requirements. o Align detailed test planning and execution with overall CalPERS strategy; provide updates as needed due to changes in Interfaces Agreements, Interface Specifications or any other change o Collaborate with the following support staff to define and document detailed test plans to include test resources requirements, level of effort assessment, test environment requirements, test scripts and scenarios for testing specified Interfaces to the PSR solution: ? CalPERS Infrastructure Staff, ? CalPERS Development Staff, ? CalPERS Business Staff, ? CalPERS ETO Staff, and ? PSR Project Staff • Providing administrative support for HP QC, QTP and LoadRunner tools as required. Includes day to day user support as well as workflow optimization & design tasks, building of synchs, reports, dashboards etc. • Work with support staff as listed above to understand the CalPERS infrastructure and applications architecture. • Conduct detailed test plan execution, track and document defects; develop and provide test results for review by CalPERS and PSR project stakeholders • Ensure any automated solution delivered is testing properly and provides traceability to the documented requirements. • Support and participate in all other test activities as needed and directed • Provide detailed technical knowledge transfer to CalPERS ETO staff automated test framework and all automated testing artifacts created. • Attend and/or facilitate meetings as needed • Provide weekly status and inform of any issues that require escalation • Understand the PSR solution and CalPERS technical environments as needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Refer to RFP 2009-5397, Section IV, Vertical 8.0.a for minimum qualifications required for this engagement. In addition the following minimum qualifications are required: • Must possess a minimum of five (5) years experience in functional test automation using HP QuickTestPro. • Must possess a minimum of three (3) years experience using test automation frameworks.
