Primary responsibilities will include the implementation of a SIEM across the enterprise and transitioning that initiative to operations and staying on to support the implementation in a staff augmentation role. The Security Engineer will work closely with the IT departments security team, network and telecommunications team, application server team, architecture team, project managers and other relevant stakeholders to accomplish these activities. The ideal candidate must be a quick start, must be resourceful to accomplish tasks, and able to operate in a large complex IT environment. The candidate will need to have background in networking, infrastructure and security including the tools and technologies, best practice processes and governance as well as implementation and integration. The role requires both implementation strategy as well as hands on design, implementation and configuration.
