This Quality Assurance Analyst is needed to bring several active, high visibility projects to successful completion, to enable the DHS System Modernization technical solutions to be deployed and fully operational. The software Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for performing all testing activities for DHS Systems Modernization projects such as ISDS, MMIS, and METS as determined by the States Project Manager. These will include several cross-agency projects with key collaborators from MMIS, MNIT @ DHS: MNsure (Department of Human Services and MNsure). For each project, the quality assurance analyst will be working with the project teams, and will be expected to create or participate in creating: A QA test strategy, QA test plan, QA test cases, and QA test closure defect documentation; A requirements traceability matrix; Other documentation as requested (i.e., meeting notes, documented processes, change requests, and status reports). The quality assurance analyst will need to interface with a variety of individuals—both on the project team and outside the project team—who may have a vested interest and can offer information pertaining to the project, including: A project director, project managers, business analysts, developers, database administrators, and information technology group system architects; All members of the QA staff (managers, supervisors, leads, and other QA analysts), MNsure business staff, DHS business staff, MNIT employees, external vendors, and the stakeholder community, including the counties and health care provider organizations; Other agency team members. Project Requirements include, but are not limited to: Work must comply with: The Statewide enterprise architecture; The States Enterprise Security Policy and Standards Statewide project management methodology; Applicable industry and agency standards; Ability to work independently, with little or no supervision; Drive to resolution in situations with high ambiguity and confusion.
