Processes Testing Sof   Requirement id 19653 Job title Manager Job location in Sacramento, CA Skills required Release Management, Quality Assurance, Configuration Management, Requirements Defination Testing Activiti Open Date 14-Jul-2014 Close Date Job type Not specified Duration 11 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Manager: Release Management, Quality Assurance, Configuration Management, Requirements Defination Testing Activiti *Description: *The Client requests assistance from Vendor for a Release Project Manager to provide on-site consultant services to supplement the Enterprise Release Management Office (RMO) staff. *Required Skills: *Release Management/Quality Assurance/Configuration Management: *Provide services in baseline and release management; change and version control; system document management; and requirements definition and testing activities. *Senior Technical Specialist/Lead: Functions at the expert level performing analytic oversight and governance activities to control and manage the areas of product release, quality assurance, and configuration management for changes to and development of software products in the production environment, and may act in a lead capacity on complex projects or may participate with other analysts on projects of a complex nature or broad scope. *Must possess a minimum of five (5) years experience in project work, monitoring and controlling product baselines and the processes supporting release, and testing of software applications including change and version control; at least three (3) years of said experience must have been at a high level both technically and in measure of responsibility. *Must have experience building and managing project plans. *Must have strong experience in the analysis, design, development, installation, implementation, procurement, and/or technical support duties within specified data processing systems, multifunction office automation systems, microcomputer systems, and/or teleprocessing networks. *Must be able to analyze data and situations; identify and solve problems; reason logically and draw valid conclusions; develop effective solutions; apply creative thinking in the design of methods for processing data. *Must be able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others. *Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a variety of audience types using different mechanisms including informal updates, formal presentations, business case documents, and other analytical and technical documents. *In addition the following minimum qualifications are required: *Experience in the development and implementation of Change Management processes and procedures *Knowledge of ITIL v.3 Configuration Management, Change Management, and Release and Deployment Management best practices *Ability to train staff at all organizational levels on the concepts, execution, and socialization of Change Management *Advance level expertise with Excel *DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: *Knowledge of CalPERS lines of business *Previous experience on Pension System Resumption (PSR) project is highly desired *Excellent communication skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
