RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides the organization with a focal point for identifying and addressing SW quality issues, identifying (in concert with the respective SW development team) preventive measures for the recurrence of SW quality issues internally. Ensures that suppliers follow good SW development practices within their operations thereby ensuring good quality RD NA/P end SW products and services. Supports significant decision-making authority during the SW development V-Cycle. Primarily responsible for making recommendations regarding SW release readiness, and the appropriateness of SW corrective/preventive actions. Perform audits at suppliers, conduct periodic internal SW development process compliance checks, and lead SW development Milestone Reviews. Establish, maintain and optimize an effective issue resolution process to support the SW Development Team and ensure SW quality. This position requires cross functional interaction with internal and external customers, suppliers, and upper management. Perform measurement system capability analysis as necessary. REQUIREMENTS: BS in Engineering, Math, Science or Computer Science is required. 5 years experience in any or all of the following areas: Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality Engineering, SW development, SW quality assurance, SW process development or related experiences Six Sigma Green Belt certification required / Black Belt or Master Black Belt a plus Experience with Quality Assurance tools (QMH, Spice, ISO 26262, etc.) and quality techniques (i.e., DFSS, Six Sigma, Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA, QFD, Shainin, etc.) are necessary Expert level MS Office skill set (PowerPoint, Excel Macros, etc.) German language skills preferred   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
