Are you an expert in an industry vertical or specific technology? Then you should contact us! We have a 30-month project with our client in Albany, NY that requires a Senior SAS Programmer

Consultant is responsible for assessment of quality STI surveillance and partner services outcomes.

Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to:

Funding will support a consultant who will analyze and evaluate STI registries (including STI and HIV matched registries), prepare analytic datasets for evaluation purposes, conduct analysis of routine match results, develop innovative programming to map partner networks, respond to data requests and prepare reports and maps summarizing the epidemiology of STI mono-infected, and STI/HIV co-morbid infections.
The consultant will establish templates for reporting performance metrics on integrated STI/HIV partner services outcomes in order to assure appropriate partner services outcomes; develop data to care quality assurance and outcome reports; perform quality assurance activities for surveillance and partner services data; and provide documentation including technical system documentation, user help and instructions guidelines.
The consultant will provide measures required for grant reporting purposes.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Create computer software. May specialize in one area of computer software or may write code for many kinds of software.
60-84 Months-Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have advanced education

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification as a Base SAS programmer for SAS v9
60 months of experience in using SAS for data management and analysis.
60 months of experience programming SAS/GRAPH, SAS/ODS, SAS/MACROS, SAS/SQL, PROC SQL, and PROC REPORT on a daily or weekly basis.
12 months of experience conducting data analysis for sexually transmitted disease surveillance program and experience with CDESS and MIS data systems.
36 months of experience in Microsoft Office Access database management and analysis.
36 months of experience in database management and analysis using other database management tools.
Bachelors Degree in Science, Statistics or Epidemiology, or any related field of science.
