Quality Assurance Web Technologies Test Plan Development Test Case Development CMS   Requirement id 139069 Job title Consultant Job location in Albany, NY Skills required Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Testing Methodologies, Quality Assurance, Web Technologies Test Plan Development T Open Date 13-Feb-2023 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 7 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Consultant: Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Testing Methodologies, Quality Assurance, Web Technologies Test Plan Development T start date : 3/6/2023 End date : 7 months from the start date. submission deadline : 2/20/2023 Note : * On-site/Remote : Remote * Interview : Phone or video call Description : Your primary responsibility will be successful delivery of multi-year agile projects with significant impact to the enterprise. • Determine project quality test approach, manages project quality test activity; determines work priorities; and defines project quality test objectives. • Work closely with the Product Owner, business technologists, and others to understand business goals and information needs. • Participate in Scrum ceremonies to understand user stories and ensure a high quality user experience. • Develop test plans based on user stories and acceptance criteria, write test cases/scripts, develops test case automation, performs test execution and reports defects and issues. • Lead the overall quality test effort including offshore using creative approaches to problem solving and quality deliverables. • Use analytics tools such as Glassbox to determine error rates, device/browser usage and troubleshooting. • Create, edit and publish content for different format, multimedia, channels and platforms for testing. • Perform quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed. • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to ensure processes include best practices. • Track and report on key quality assurance metrics to identify gaps and improve processes. • Partner with our Scrum development team to ensure code releases provide maximum business value and minimize operational interruptions, while protecting the targeted release cadence. IT skills: Must have: Extensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including development tools, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management In-depth knowledge of quality assurance testing of web technologies in an agile delivery environment In-depth knowledge of test plan development, test case writing and execution Experience with CMS tools such as Sitecore and WordPress highly desirable Ability to execute test cases using web services tools such as Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI using SOAP, JSON, REST or similar tools Ability to present, document and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding Nice to have Experience with Jira and HP Quality Center preferred Experience with TestComplete and/or Selenium desirable   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
