Analyzes, reviews and validates project requirements and technical specifications, provides and manages test estimates and owns the development and execution of test plans and test cases utilizing standard test methods and tools. 2. Collaborates with developers and analysts to address project requirements, deliverables and any potential road blocks. 3. Participates in discovery meetings. Performs impact analysis from a testing perspective and documents key issues. 4. Identifies, mitigates and drives project quality issues and risks to resolution. Takes accountability for work and results. 5. Executes tests including, but not limited to, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, System and Integration Testing, Automated Testing, Data Validation Testing, etc. Verifies and validates data and code changes per specifications, document anomalies and resolves issues. 6. Records, tracks and regresses defects using test tools and provides necessary metrics reporting on test execution, defects and overall quality. 7. Seeks out opportunities to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of overall test cycle through streamlining test execution and utilizing automated testing tools or various scripting languages. 8. Analyzes data and trends, draws conclusions and recommends direction. 9. Utilizes a variety of database and SQL tools to gather and analyze datasets for test case design, planning and execution. 10. Performs risk-based analysis to maximize ROI while minimizing business risk and adjusting the test strategy accordingly. 11. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. 12. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or four (4) years experience in Information Technology. • Seven (7) years of experience in Quality Assurance/Software Testing or Information technology field. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Knowledge of the Health Insurance Business Domain 2 Knowledge of Testing Tools, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence Tools 3. Knowledge of Integrated Health Insurance Management system. 4. Knowledge of Trizetto applications (Facets, NetworX, CCA) 5. Knowledge of X12, 83x, and 27x data sets/files Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1. Demonstrated experience successfully working with internal business partners and delivering high quality artifacts. 2. Demonstrated understanding of Object Oriented programming fundamentals. 3. Demonstrated understanding of Relational Database concepts and advanced SQL skills. 4. Proven experience in SDLC, Software Testing Processes, automated testing tools and in applying software testing methods and techniques to a variety of technology. 5. Excellent critical thinking (inductive, deductive and quantitative reasoning) and problem solving skills including data analysis and validations. 6. Demonstrated leadership and team building skills 7. Demonstrated analytical skills in identifying and objectively evaluating innovative and alternative solutions to problems 8. Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner, verbally and in writing. Ability to articulate and translate technical language to non-technical customers. 9.
