JOB TITLE: SAP Solution Manager GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: SAP Technology Platform Services provides technology infrastructure, development support and on-going support for Cardinal Healths SAP infrastructure. The SAP Solution Manager administrator is responsible for in-depth BASIS Administration of our enterprise Solution Manager solution. The SAP Solution Manager administrator is responsible to manage productive and current deployment application environments related to Solution Manager. SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Charm 7.1 implementation and migration in mandatory skillsets Responsible to provide the day to day Basis administration support (24*7) with multiple releases of SAP Solution Manager productive and non-productive environment. Installations & upgrades of SAP components related to core SAP tools and utilities like Solution Manager. Researches & implements solutions within Basis functionality in areas of performance monitoring, tuning and systems configurations, design & implementation. Providing documentation (SOPs) for technical and process related activities. Provides support & maintenance of transports using Solution Manager Change Request Management. Responsible for setup, configuration and troubleshooting of complex environments (e.g. clustering, high availability, load balancing etc.) Function as point of contact for production SAP Basis related issues. Ensure proper configuration & security on all server environments. Conduct ongoing monitoring and maintenance to ensure stability and optimal performance on all server environments. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on all severity 1 issues. Ability to independently install SAP upgrades/patches and perform routine SAP system administration functions. Assist DBA with DB2 Database administration (e.g tablespace admin, backups and restores) Participate in On Call rotation & provide after hours support as needed. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Education or Equivalent: BS in computer or related field and SAP Solution Manager E2E Certification (Desirable) Qualifications / Skills Requirements: Strong customer service and conflict management skills. 3 or more years SAP Solution Manager Administration experience. Support experience with Solution Manager Change Request Management Support experience with Wily Support experience with Business Process Monitoring Support experience with Business Process Management within Solution Manager Database background DB2 OS background on AIX and LINUX Good understanding on virtualization & high availability Ability to multi-task Good co-ordination and organization skills.
