Employ data design techniques and methodologies to provide creative solutions to complex requirements across large enterprise-scale projects. Partner with the development community to provide data architecture related expertise in a variety of projects and initiatives relating to Data Architectures. Collaborate and influence system and software architects with data needs. May function as team leader or assume project management responsibilities in supervisor?s absence. Job Responsibilities ?Develop database architectural strategies at the modeling, design and implementation stages to address business or industry requirements. ?Creating flexible, well designed and consistent data architecture to support business needs for high performance databases in high availability environments ?Designing for data partitions and function-based indexes for efficient access of the extensible generic database structure. ?Design, develop and implement infrastructure to provide highly-complex, reliable, and scalable database to meet the organizations objectives and requirements. ?Performs systems analysis on database and resolve performance and capacity issues as necessary. ?Experience in designing database architectures for Multi-tenant / SaaS applications. ?Develop load-balancing processes to eliminate down time for operational processes. ?Provide expert data modeling and data validation services that produce useful data structure design solutions to make effective business decisions. ?Identify opportunities for sharing and utilizing data across boundaries, thus extracting maximum benefit from the data resource. ?Analyze organizations business requirements for database design and implement change to databases as required. ?Responsible for organizing all activities associated with planning, modeling, configuring, documenting and coordinating the usage of data model ?Lead associates in database utilization; understanding and interpreting raw data and converting it into information. ?Serve as the data custodian in facilitating resolution of business issues, enterprise data models, data dictionaries, and records classification. ?Develop database architectural strategies at the modeling, design and implementation stages to address business or industry requirements. ?Provides detailed design and specification documentation artifacts for all the aspects of the databases. ?Develop and maintain database standards and naming conventions ?Follow standards for database design and overall data architecture to assess data quality and act as a liaison with various technical service teams which include database administrators and platform administrators. ?Create and manage an array of data design deliverables including data models, data diagrams, data flows and corresponding data dictionary documentation. ?Participate in the identification, prioritization and development of technical initiatives and strategies. ?Support analysts in requirements development, research and verification. ?Collaborate with system architects, software architects, design analysts, and others to understand business or industry requirements. Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams across time-zones to leverage core technologies across multiple product lines Job Requirements Education Required The candidate should have a bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent. Experience Required Minimum eight years experience in database administration or support.
