Description :
Our client in Greenwood Village, CO is looking to add a Data Systems Analyst to their team for an 8 month contract with likely extension. This position is with a widely recognized innovator in the health services industry. Youll be responsible for helping the lives of millions of people worldwide. Their campus is centrally located in the Denver Tech Center.

Duties :
* Systems requirements specifications
* Mapping specifications
* Technical specifications
* Data validation of various source to target information Investigation and triage of defects Support of the following phases within the Software Development Life-cycle:
- Design
- Coding
- Testing

Skills :
Experience with reviewing business requirements, system functional requirements, and developing systems specifications. Working knowledge of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Strong knowledge of Systems Analyst responsibilities and processes. Knowledge of / experience with QA processes and testing requirements. Some knowledge of midrange and mainframe systems, relational database concepts and functionality. Prior experience with Healthcare Insurance (Payer) systems is preferred.
Healthcare Insurance (Payer) subject matter expert preferred Ability to gather requirements and determine system requirements required Ability to facilitate meetings required Good communication skills both written and verbal required Solid knowledge of Systems Analysis leading practices required Solid knowledge of Oracle and databases required Strong knowledge of SQL and TOAD required Ability to facilitate meetings and elicit requirements required Solid knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel & MS Visio required Caliber RM experience a plus Mercury Quality Center experience a plus Knowledge of large ODS/Data warehouse environments prefered Experience working with the Facets data model a plus.
