Job Description Role: Sr. Java/Mulesoft Developer Location: Remote / Irving, TX Duration: 3 month open-ended Contract Project Details: · This team supports multiple applications for internal / external customers and chatbot and is working on a major transformation on microservices. · You will be supporting 2 applications: o An application for Customer Care Agents – When a customer calls the customer service line, it connects to a Customer Care Agent and the agent uses this application to serve the customers. o A customer facing application – When a customer creates an account, they use this self-service application on the portal. *Please note that the team will eventually be migrating to Mule in 5-8 months, but the current need for this project is a pure Java Developer that has some Mulesoft experience. They are not going to start using Mulesoft from day 1. They have a lot of Java coding to do and lots of work to ramp up on. The client will also consider a Mulesoft Developer as long as they are open to doing purely Java development work for the first 5-8 months. Must Have: · Self-starter · 8+ years of core Java development (team is currently on Java 8) · Strong experience creating REST services (team has some Legacy SOAP services) · Spring · Microservices · RDBMS (i.e. Oracle or other) · Hibernate · Any knowledge of front end for debugging code, not coding (i.e. JSP, Javascript, Angular / Ember /Knockout) · Unit testing (i.e. jUnit, Mockito or other) · CI/CD - Jenkins · Mule (team is migrating to Mule) Clients Job Description: Desired Skills and Experience 8+ years of experience working in a backend Java/J2EE role Experience using Junit, Mockito or similar tool for writing unit test cases Experience using Spring or similar framework Experience using Hibernate Experience using JSP, Angular, Ember, JavaScript or Knockout on the front end – 10% or less front end dev work Excellent writing REST service and consuming services Excellent design skills Good database experience – Oracle preferred Experience with Mule Good with Jenkins, build automation Good communication   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
