Pref exp working in brick & mortar stores Team Info: Large collaborative team focused on digital displays for pricing & moving into in-store advertising Agile team Works very closely w/ product teams Project Details: This team is creating a brand-new CMS platform to manage in-store ads that will replace printed ads They already have a lot of mini displays now so there is a process in place for digital pricing & mini displays but this CMS will focus more around managing larger ad content that gets displayed on larger displays This platform will need to manage the content as well as provide the interface for in-store employees to change / update in-store ads This needs to be a sr resource that can look at the architecture of this platform from a storage / content management stand-point as well as design a secure way to connect to the displays so there are a lot of moving parts This resourced not only needs to design this but will need to code it as well so this is why we want a sr or lead CMS eng rather than a pure arch We can pair them w/ a hardware or network engineer that can fill in any gaps on how to communicate w/ the in-store display devise & networks Candidate Profile: Sr CMS eng Exp developing enterprise (not small ad agency or start-up) CMS platforms 5+ yrs exp in ent envs exp w/ building both custom CMS platforms & using products like WordPress or Joomla Pref Java exp Exp developing REST APIs Daily Responsibilities: Work w/ product teams & vendors to understand requirements Work w/ network team to understand how to connect to hardware Design integrations Develop REST services, integrations & CMS platform Unit testing Bug fixes Standard agile processes Required Skills: CMS Joomla, WordPress, etc. Full stack dev exp Pref Java & react Pref exp working w/ network devices but this is def not required Ent env exp Preferred Skills: Exp developing CMS platforms for brick & mortar retail stores   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
