The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work well with others, shows a positive attitude and is excited to learn new technologies and concepts Required: · 5 years of AIX 6,7/RHEL 6 systems administration experience, or equivalent experience · Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment · Able to partition disks, create logical volumes, create file systems and mount file systems in AIX/Linux environments. · Experience with AIX 7.1 and RHEL 6.9 or later, performance monitoring and tuning tools, installation options, problem determination and recovery, and AIX security · Experience with IBM P- Series architectures and VMWare server technology. · Installation and configuration of VIOS and client configurations · High level knowledge about AIX and RHEL OS Patching · Ability to create Linux VM profiles and install RHEL 6.X operating systems · System partitioning and virtualization utilizing IBM AIX POWER LPAR/DLPAR · Ability to debug and troubleshoot network, performance and hardware and software issues · High knowledge about SAN based disk solutions, should be able to work closely with storage folks. · Experience in handling complex NFS, SMB and CIFS permissions · Scripting Experience , bash, korn and python · Work a flexible schedule, with 24 hour on call rotation and weekend work expected · Expert of various standard infrastructure and networking services such as AD, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, NFS, SSH, Samba, NTP · Configure and troubleshoot Linux machines Nice to have: · Devops experience (Mainly Ansible) · RHEL 7 experience · Unix Admin experience maintaining Cloudera/Hadoop environment Notes :   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
