OBIEE Architect with extensive OBIEE and Data Warehouse Experience: Provide Business Intelligence (BI) consultancy, training and support to project managers, business analysts, developers and business users. Act as a subject matter expert for BI and related technologies and methodologies. Provide support for key IT and business initiatives throughout the whole BI project life cycle with a specific focus on BI Analysis and Design activities. Responsible for outlining and advocating best practices and frameworks in all aspects of BI development. Provide BI consultancy, primarily to project managers, business analysts, business users, developers and solution architects. Responsible for identifying opportunities to exploit relevant technologies, ensuring appropriate tool sets are utilized, sufficient capacity is available and detailing the BI components required, and working proactively with relevant software vendors to ensure a thorough understanding of the product suite functionality and tools integration. Develop, utilize and effectively promote BI development and meta data methodologies, integration best practices with business and development groups. Work with the Solution Architecture group to ensure BI solutions are effectively aligned and integrated into existing and proposed technologies. Participate in, and provide technical leadership and direction for, company-wide projects that evaluate and select information management technologies including middleware, BI and data warehousing tools. Participate in reporting model reviews for BI projects and audits as necessary to ensure compliance with company-wide plans and standards and alignment with enterprise data architecture and data model. Compliance to regulatory requirements, SOPs and data standards. Perform other duties as needed. Good conceptual, organizational, communication, time management, interpersonal, and problem solving skills. The ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Good experience of using ETL, OBIEE 11g, Data Warehousing, Project Management and SDLC methodologies including Agile Development. Strong background knowledge in Entity-Relationship Modeling techniques -Operational data model/Data warehouse data model. Good technical leadership and task / timeline orientated skills necessary to ensure projects are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Proven ability to identify BI standardization opportunities which will deliver business impact. Possess good presentation, negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to function effectively across a wide variety of audiences. Works well under pressure with the ability to manage multiple, concurrent activities without losing track of details. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and customers Bachelors degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Developed and maintained Data Warehouse and BI solutions through the entire project life cycle. 7 years of BI tool set experience, with at least 5 of those years spent heavily utilizing the OBIEE tool set with 11g version, RPD Pharmaceutical industry and computer validation experience preferred.
