Design and develop software for new functionality, improvements and system longevity. Identify and resolve problems in order to provide continuous business operations. Provide technical and/or business application consultation to business partners and team members in the areas of functionality, architecture, operating systems and databases for complex application systems. Develop low-level technical specifications and detailed program specifications as needed. Review/Approve detailed technical decisions and high and low level design documentation. Ensures code quality, performs code reviews, and mentors development team members. Provide training and guidance to team members and users as required. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Required: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience Required: 5+ years experience in programming/systems analysis 5+ years experience with UI/UX instincts and understanding Front-End Frameworks (Angular.js, React, and supporting libraries) Knowledge of: JavaScript, HTML (5), CSS/SASS/Bootstrap, NodeJS/npm, Java/Groovy RESTful API Design Front-End Architecture/Ecosystem Display frameworks/patterns (Bootstrap, Material Design, Foundation, etc.) or any CSS pre-processors like SASS/LESS Oracle/Mongo (minimally) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced oral and written communication skills Preferred: Knowledge of frameworks such as Groovy, Grails, Gradle/ Spring Experience with Jenkins, Docker Interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to lead Continuous Integration environment (Starteam, TFS GIT, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus or equivalent) Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban methodology experience Experience with test driven development (TDD) Knowledge of open source tools and frameworks Experience with unit testing frameworks Company Overview RGAs culture stresses high performance and collaboration, and the company hires the smartest people in the industry.
