Job Description :

We are currently supporting an Agile Transformation project for one of our financial clients in Detroit. Specifically, we are looking for an Agile Transformation Leader to come in and help them out from the Program level. The role will potentially expand to Portfolio or even Enterprise level as the project goes on.

This is a great opportunity to get into a project that is just beginning and be able to scale an Agile environment. We are searching for candidates that have transformed multiple teams and have SAFe certifications, specifically SPC4. The Agile Assessment will last for about 10-weeks.


Agile Transformation Leader/Assessment SME

Location: Detroit/Troy MI, some travel may be required

Client: Financial Services/Finance Auto Lending

Duration: 10 weeks-6 months

Role:

This will be the LEAD/SME role for an exclusive Consulting Services engagement onsite at our client, supporting an Agile Transformation and scaling Agile through multiple phases of work.


Initial priority is to lead the “Agile Assessment Phase”. This role will work with our client to address and overcome maturity gaps, to ensure our agile scaling efforts remain successful. This consultant will also be expected to work with senior level business and technology teams to build a sustainable road map to scale, improve the planning and execution model within the organizational standards.

Initial assessment is scheduled to be 10 weeks.

This consultant will possibly continue into subsequent phases for Agile Scaling including:

Training Curriculum Development (custom)

Training Execution phases while scaling Agile (custom)

Coaching phase

Responsibilities:

Develops and maintains stakeholder relationships supporting Agile product development
Supports Agile Programs and Agile Release Trains (ARTs), by fostering collaboration and the use of best practices
Identifies and acts on opportunities for continuous operational and team improvement
Embraces servant leadership and displays behaviors that come with the key mindset shifts associated with being Agile
Keeps informed and educated about industry trends concerning Agile methodologies
Works with the organization to help launch and coach scaling efforts and Agile programs



Assessment Phase:

Perform detailed assessment of the current processes, tools, roles and responsibilities and environments that are targeted for use during development.
Provide recommendations based on the detailed assessment for custom agile methodology/framework.
Assist client with the documenting and implementation of agreed upon recommendations.
Work with client resources to serve as a consultant to align process recommendation to clients methodology
Conducts and manages Agile maturity assessments to help teams develop and grow in their Agile journeys
Other Work Products include developing and maintaining: Stakeholder Interview List Interview Questionnaire, Interview Summary Memos, Gap Analysis Document, Team-Level Survey Results, Objectives and Guiding Principles Document, Issues, Concerns and Risks, Document, Custom agile framework recommendation, Development / process tool recommendation, Tool set-up / configuration recommendation, Environment recommendation, Summary Report with recommended best practices, Governance Recommendation, Road Map/High Level Work Plan
