This person must be able to work with subject matter experts (SMEs) across lines of business to translate their needs into requirements, recommend best practices to accomplish their goals, and implement & test technical solutions that digitize, automate, and integrate business processes and workflows. Job Description Analyze, design and develop business applications Participating in development and testing of Software meeting project deadlines and deliverables Create detailed architecture and technical designs for key projects including process flow charts, data models, and system integration interfaces. Design and implement software that is simple, intuitive and easy to use that will allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific business needs Implementing software solutions that ensure security, integrity, scalability and consistency of critical user data Ability to take a simple business need or requirement and create a technical solution that meets stake holder/business needs. Using analysis skills to directly interface with stakeholders Supporting ServiceNow Integrations with third party applications and data sources Learning ascending technologies, and willingness to learn enough to integrate with them. Support business unit and technical support teams in the design and implementation of automated discovery & data federation into the ServiceNow CMDB. Develop Configuration Management processes, procedures, and standards. Mature processes and KPIs to improve Configuration Management effectiveness. Monitor CMDB health and resolve conflicts between authoritative production data sources. Work with technical support and operations teams to integrate infrastructure alerts and performance data from infrastructure management tools into ServiceNow. Correlate Asset, Event, Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge data with the CMDB. Integrates with and supports the ServiceNow Administration team Ability to write clear and concise communications. Ability to provide hands on training to users with different levels of experience. Desired Qualifications 3+ years of ServiceNow Development experience with BS/MS in Computer Science or related field Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Consulting background Expert understanding of ServiceNow Platform Development technologies including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, etc Expert Knowledge in JavaScript, XML and Java Experience in web application development with Java based server environments Knowledge in JSON, AJAX, CSS, XHTML/HTML is preferred. Experience with database design schemas and data modeling Previous experience of working in a SCRUM agile development environment Preferred Qualifications CMDB implementation and Organizational Change Management Experience. Prior experience correlating Asset, Event, Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge data with the CMDB. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
