The SAP Vistex Analyst is responsible for working with business to implement and configure the SAP modules pertaining to the Vistex solution. Possesses knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures in a field of specialization. Follows established procedures and works under immediate supervision. Work varies from routine to somewhat difficult and instructions are usually detailed. Some evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required. PRE EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: University degree/college diploma or equivalent work experience in IT or related business area. 3-5 Years Experience with Vistex and/or SAP ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The essential functions of the SAP Vistex Systems Analyst include but are not limited to the following: Requirements Assessments 3+ years of SAP/Vistex implementation experience 2+ years of Vistex (IP) configuration experience with expertise in Chargeback?s and Rebates modules Combines general knowledge of multiple technology areas with knowledge of the targeted business function to define and document the business requirements Gathers business requirements by conducting meetings/interviews, and facilitating small group/cross-functional sessions with customers Writes functional and data requirements specifications and develops business process and data models that define the business needs Prepares detailed analysis and specifications SD Module with strong functional pricing and configuration experience Master Data (Materials Management, Business Partner, Financial) Experience interfacing data between SAP and external systems Basic ABAP Development experience JDEdwards experience is a plus Data Conversion EDI, iDocs Business Solution Support Works with the Business Relationship Manger and/or Project Manager to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed solutions providing assessment of project estimates in time and resources Prepares documents, charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submits recommendations for solutions. May provide information for the development of business cases Project Management Analyzes the impact of change requests Assists the project manager in ensuring that project management standards and methodology are enforced Coordinates, develops and executes quality assurance test plans Coordinates the implementation of systems with the user departments NON ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The non-essential functions of the SAP Vistex Systems Analyst include but are not limited to the following: Comply to IT project methodology guidelines Perform other tasks as assigned.
