This resource will build customized solutions on our global OpenText instance as part of a project team. The resource will work as part of a Global IT project team, and need to be able to work in conjunction with other project team members from the global PMO, Infrastructure, Risk, Integrations, and Enterprise Content Management team to deliver assigned projects. This role will work with the business SMEs assigned to the project to understand their needs through requirements gathering, then design and build the solution using the OpenText software suite. Required Skills: Candidates must have the following: #1 - 5+ years experience designing, building/configuring, and testing Enterprise Content Management systems (OpenText) solutions: Content Server, Archive Server, OTDS, Enterprise Connect, Case Mgmt, Records Mgmt, Web Services, OTIC, Object Importer, Web Reports, Workflow #2 - Understanding of architectural/admin of OpenText #3 – OpenText 16.2 Suite. SAP xECM: Enterprise Scan, Doculink, ECMLink, Business Workspace - hands-on deployment experience Role Description: The OpenText Consultant will join a Enterprise Content Management Team and will work with business units and functions on projects to deploy OpenText solutions. The OpenText Consultant should be a skilled OpenText professional who can gather business requirements, create system designs according to target architectures, build/configure, test and deploy solutions. Principal Accountabilities 20% Analysis & Requirements Gathering: • Elicit and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements (performance, availability, security, accessibility, cross-browser compliance) from business stakeholders and end users using standard templates, using natural language. • Based on requirements, define security model and folder structure for OpenText solutions. • Provide subject matter expertise in the application of OpenText technology to help businesses understand the functionality present in the solution suite. 70% Solution Design/Build: • Design OpenText project solutions that meet project requirements and adhere to relevant standards and principles, leverage common tools and processes, and meet cost/delivery objectives. • Perform reviews with key stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle to ensure alignment on solution designs and requirements. This may include but is not limited to the following activities: design reviews, testing execution, deployment verifications, customer satisfaction reviews, etc. • Create supporting solution design documentation to ensure sustainment of the solution and business capability, support solution implementation as necessary. • Configure/build OpenText solutions according to project requirements. • Create test scripts and perform system testing. • Resolve defects identified during user acceptance testing. • Work with end users to complete user acceptance testing, deploy solution, and support go-live. 10% Project Delivery Responsibilities: • Manage workload and priorities to deliver project deliverables • Prepare high and detailed level estimations of effort in order to achieve a preferred solution.
