Exceptional teamwork and communication skills are critical to the success of the individual and the achievement of business results. Responsibilities will include: • Working in close relationship to Seed & Traits and Chemical Manufacturing partners to understand business processes and requirement needs. • Working with and supporting the Monsanto-Business Network; working to develop and manage enterprise solutions to problems that best support Monsantos operation processes with efficiencies and possible cost reductions within the Supply Chain. • Planning, design, configuration, testing, training of SAP QM Module. • Configuration of all of SAP QM functionality. • Development of Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and other detailed enhancement documentation to support modifications being requested. • Cross-functional work with MM, PP, ABAP, Security, Basis, Operations, and other teams as necessary to resolve technical and process issues • Identify opportunities for process improvements either in existing designs or by adopting new functionalities available in ECC 7.4 and higher • Search and Implement SAPs OSS when needed • Work closely with Product and ABAP teams to hit cutover targets and deliverables • Provide ROMs to stakeholders in a timely manner • Some integration exposure to bolt-ons or external lab systems Required Skills: • Minimum 7 years SAP configuration experience for Quality Management Processes • At least 3 full life cycle implementation experience. • In depth experience in configuring and managing core QM functionality including Sampling, Results Posting, Batch Management, Workflow and other key related process within QM • Solid understanding of Batch Classifications/Characteristic process • Understanding of material configuration structure and batch classification structure. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and results oriented • Solid experience in the use of User Exits, Function Modules, BAPIs, BADIs, BDCs, LSMW and PI • Demonstrate effectiveness in meeting with users and management to define complex business requirements in sufficient detail to determine the appropriate SAP configuration or development required, and or document why the requirement cannot be satisfied by an SAP-based solution. • Ability to collaborate with business process partner, Product and ABAP teams to develop, document and translate business requirements into conceptual designs. • Ability to write functional design specifications for QM module, custom programming (more than just configuring for a specific process) • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field is required. • Experience in SAP ECC 7.0 version or higher Must Have: • Must be able to work in a team environment and have excellent skills in cross-team communication and task completion. • Must have demonstrated proficiency in team communication and working as an effective team member. • Must have excellent analytical skills to think through complex, multidimensional problems. • Must have the ability to independently drive issue resolution, develop business knowledge, and relationships and apply technical alternatives while operating in a rapidly changing environment.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
