KNOWLEDGE OF: Principals of systems analysis; SAP NetWeaver-related technologies such as SLD, NWDI, CE, etc.; in-depth familiarity, understanding and techniques of SAP R/3 architecture, SAP database, network, system monitoring, system performance configuration, tuning techniques and SAP toolsets; familiarity with SAP security, backup and restore processes; concepts of Unix operating system environment and Oracle database and tools; familiarity in SAP Database/Oracle, Oracle utilities for reorganization and recovering and Unix/Solaris/AIX operating system; and English grammar, punctuation and vocabulary standards. SKILL TO: Compile and prepare technical, statistical and/or analytical reports and presentations; analyze complex issues and develop and implement resolution alternatives; analyze procedures and systems and develop and implement operational improvements; evaluate and resolve complex technical issues and problems; express ideas/facts clearly and concisely to individual or groups; read and interpret plans, diagrams and specifications; monitor and tune the SAP database; communicate effectively orally and in writing internally/externally; establish and maintain effective working relationships internally/externally. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Experience: 3-5 years of progressively responsible relevant work experience in information technology with 3 years experience in end-to-end development, implementation and support of SAP R/3 systems in a Unix environment working with current release of SAP, Oracle database and tool sets.
