This is a long term contract position with an opportunity to go full time for the right candidate. This Quality Assurance Tester will be joining an existing team but will need to be able to work on his/her own and take ownership of the project. The technical landscape consists primarily of SAP Success Factors migration and manual testing. The ideal candidate would have a strong testing background with HRIS understanding and a strong knowledge of the HR system and process. Our client is migrating from Kronos to another application, within a very data driven environment. Understanding data mapping and being hands on in the data migration will be key to the success of this role. This candidate will also have 5-8 years of experience. Responsibilities Overview of SAP Success Factors Quality Assurance Tester: Responsibilities Participate in manual testing, documentation of testing, and automation. Coordinate and oversee the maintenance of test data, Create and update test cases and test scenarios due to changes in product functionality Perform thorough regression testing when defects are fixed Design, develop and maintain automated tests where applicable Develop comprehensive end-to-end test cases at the application level Help coordinate the QE testing and release procedures for a product team. Oversee and participate in the work of verification and validation of user stories implemented in web front end, back end, APIs, and supporting third-party tools. Working with database technologies Identify, document, and track defects found during testing Requirements B.S. degree or foreign academic equivalent in General Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field Experience with one of the leading test automation tools and frameworks Demonstrated ability to identify good test cases and document defects. Demonstrated ability to write documentation around testing practices. Professional background in SQL and relational database concepts.
