MDM operations will consist of maintaining Finished Goods and Non-Finished Goods Material Master within IRIS and legacy CAJE environments, as well as, applicable Material Master objects being activated as part of IRIS Manufacturing deployments. Perform Master Data Management daily operations and central governance, inclusive of operations quality of ERP Material data to ensure high degree of data accuracy, consistency and completeness. The primary focus is to facilitate the Material Master set-up and changes in accordance with department standards and business rules during integration activities, product commercialization programs, global and regional product launches and all subsequent phases of the product life cycle. Successfully and quickly resolve operational issues related to master data, such as out-of-sync conditions across systems, or resolving other applicable operational disruptions. Major Accountabilities (Describe the 5-7 main results of the role to be achieved ) Facilitate the setup and maintenance of new material master setup and change requests in Alcon ERP systems (SAP (IRIS) / JDE) to support day to day manufacturing and supply chain operations. Requires heavy interaction and coordination across manufacturing and supply chain stakeholders. Work closely with other business teams like Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, and Sales, to address and resolve master data issues in a timely manner. Analyze large amounts of data to support ERP data validation / cleansing activities, operational and project-oriented, and contribute to governance process enhancement. Provide assistance to key business initiatives like new product launches, acquisitions, NPMR, GTIN assignment, etc. Maintain compliance with Group, internal, and external controls (i.e. NFCM, Novartis Nova Core Standards, NPMR standards, and Alcons Global Master Data Template). Participate in periodic data steward meetings to understand and communicate new processes and standards to other team members. Key Performance Indicators (Indicate how performance for this role will be measured) Number of Data Points managed / overseen per resource Completion of new material master setup and change requests within agreed upon timeframe. Enforce Global data standards and guidelines to achieve 99% data accuracy. Pass NFCM audits for relevant master data controls Multi-rater feedback and customer satisfaction surveys to provide an indication on both core and functional competencies. 3-5 years experience managing master data across a complex international supply chain in an ERP environment. SAP preferred. 3-5 years contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. 3-5 years interacting with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations. 1-3 years developing solutions to complex problems which may require some ingenuity and innovation.
