Solutions Architect
Skills & Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of 10 years of multifunctional experiences and peer relationships with Sr. Management IT professionals. 7 years of programming/systems analysis experience.
Demonstrated prior experience delivering large Project and familiarity with Project/Program Management competencies.
Experience with RFP writing and Solution Development.
Highly skilled in multiple Business and IT service offerings with the ability to provide verified insight into industry and business issues.
Demonstrated ability to act as a counselor and strategic advisor to the client in multiple areas.
Highly effective C - level relationship management skills.
Advanced written and oral communication skills.
Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
Independently solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may direct the work of other staff members.
Required Technical Skills:

Deep Data Warehousing and Integration/SOA/ESB expertise.
Deep Microsoft .NET experience, with emphasis on data and application integration patterns, SOA, messaging.
Must be hands on enough to Architect solutions that span across Data and SOA/ESB/ETL/Rules Engine/Workflow Engines technologies, Meta Data, Data Modeling, Master Data Management, Operational Data Store, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Marts, Reporting, Analytics, Taxonomies, Technology/Tools associated with Data Architecture such as RDMS, BI tools, Big Data platforms.
Experience in database design methodologies, database architectures; ETL tools and related integration technologies.
Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments with a broad understanding of technology including OS/390 systems architecture, UNIX architecture, WinTel architecture, systems design, requirement/interface design and analysis, Web trends, multi-media tools, network infrastructure, project planning, estimating, tracking, change management In depth experience with SOA, and Rules Engines.
Experience in metadata management and repository strategy to manage all enterprise information architecture project artifacts.
Monitor emerging industry standards (such as XML, RDF, OWL and XBRL) to determine impact on enterprise information architecture.
Experience designing and implementing high performance data structures. Experience in data modeling, including logical and physical model design.
Preferred Technical Skills:

A strong background in data, workflow and enterprise information systems is highly preferred.
We would like to see these candidates have a background in Financial Services, Financial Systems, Health Care, or Health Care Actuarial systems.
Big 5 experience a plus.
