PRISM is a comprehensive pharmacy SAS based projection model used in extensive modeling to support pricing decisions and driving growth in the pharmacy space. This person should have significant SAS/SQL development experience in a healthcare setting, preferably having worked with pricing models in the Pharmacy Benefit Management arena. They should also have experience tying different platforms and datasets together to create an integrated model approach to pricing management. Responsibilities: Uplift current SAS/SQL modeling based on defined business requirements Incorporate data from various sources including SAS, SQL, Alteryx, and others. Provide solutions to efficiencies based on business requirements and future needs Solution for performance to quicken turn around times and high volumes of data Move majority of functionality from Excel to SAS/SQL to increase capabilities and move to future transformation of pricing goals Ability to create tools with SAS/SQL datasets without the user needing SAS/SQL access and knowledge Ability work with another consultant who will be creating tools using SAS/SQL datasets/processes without the user needing SAS/SQL access and knowledge Work closely with Project Manager, Pricing and actuarial leadership, and other internal stakeholders Experience with integrating different data models and systems to streamline performance and outputs Skills Overview: Must have 4 year bachelors degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Statistics 5 plus years of experience in SAS/SQL development Healthcare background or healthcare claims experience required Prefer PBM pricing development background experience.
